All about JJ Lin
JJ Lin is a multi-instrumentalist, playing the piano, guitar, drums and beatboxing, as well as singing and writing his own lyrics, mostly in Mandarin. In fact, the young talent got his foot in the door of a prestigious label company by writing and composing songs for other famous musicians, like Harlem Yu, A-Mei and Comic Boyz. With his debut album Music Voyager (2003), JJ Lin was launched to stardom in his home country Singapore and in Taiwan, with songs like "Wings" and "I Don't Know". Each album JJ Lin released made his popularity spread to more countries across Asia and, by the time his sixth album Sixology (2008) arrived, the popular star expanded his reach into mainland China, Malaysia and South Korea.
Since then, the R&B and hip-hop influenced artist has won over 125 music awards, including three Golden Melody Awards and two Mnet Asian Music Awards, for the Best Asian Artist.
