More about Incubus
The story of the Incubus is a story of friendship which began on the school benches and resulted in worldwide popularity. The band was founded in 1991 in California when the members were still in high school. By the time Brandon Boyd, Mike Einziger, Alex Katunich and José Pasillas graduated, they had already gained experience playing all-ages shows around their home region.
In 1997, Incubus released their second album, S.C.I.E.N.C.E., in the hopes of reaching more success than they did with their first release Fungus Amongus. Touring as the opening band for giants like Korn, Sublime and System of a Down, Incubus finally found a way of building exposure. Make Yourself soon followed in 1999, which shifted towards the current alternative and pop rock sound. The album went double platinum in the US and the song "Drive" became an international hit.
From that moment on, Incubus started touring extensively, blasting hits like "Megalomaniac", "Anna Molly" and "Love Hurts". With the sixth album, Light Grenades from 2006, the legendary group topped the American charts for the first time. After years of intensive touring, the band members chose to take a well-deserved break. Due to the insatiable demand for new material, Incubus finally ended their hiatus with 2017's eighth album 8. The Californian rockers can now boast of having sold more than 23 million albums worldwide, which is why you should act fast and buy your Incubus tickets asap!
