BSC Young Boys team history
Berner Sport Club Young Boys, more simply known as Young Boys, was founded in 1897 by a group of students at the University of Bern. Initially, YB were one of the most successful teams in Swiss football, winning the top league in 1903, 1909, 1910, 1911, 1920 and 1929. What followed afterwards was a period of stagnation and relegation before the arrival of German coach Albert Sing in 1951. What followed under Sing is affectionately known as the Golden Years as the team were competitive in European competitions and, perhaps the proudest moment in Young Boy's history, reached the Semi-Finals of the European Cup (UCL), just losing out to Stade de Reims. They also won the Swiss league four years in a row (1957-1960). As you can see, this is a football team with a long and proud history. BSC Young Boys tickets are in high demand as the team are looking to replicate their glory days of old. Get yours today and cheer on the side from the capital city, Bern, as they look to take in Europe's giants in the Champions League and their own rivals like Basel, Grasshoppers and FC Bern.
